Interestng e-mail facts Are you tired of being bombarded by E-mail spam? No wonder. The IT specialists at Canadian Consulting Engineer's parent company, Business Information Group, have been counting the number of trash e-mails received and firewalled over the past year. The results show the extent of the scourge:

  • E-mail stopped at the gateway due to bogus addressing - 41,710,518 -- Yes, that's 41 MILLION!
  • E-mail dropped due to virus issues: 42,174
  • E-mail dropped or quarantined due to Spam content: 4,197,122
  • E-mail that was valid and safe and therefore delivered through the gateway to the recipients: 1,836,560. These results cover e-mail traffic to approximately 325 employees

Kneeshaw Engineering is currently accepting very limited numbers and sizes of assignments. As Senior Engineer and Manager of Planning, Engineering and Public Works at the Kamloops Indian Band, David is managing several major projects in that capacity - including the proposed multi-million dollar wastewater collection, treatment and disposal system.
